Small scale cattle keeping

Ruth Dalton, Field Officer for the North at the Rare Breed Survival Trust, returns to the Festival’s Speaker Programme in 2019, where she will be explaining the ins and outs of small scale cattle keeping. Ruth, and her partner, Wal, breed Shetland cattle in Cumbria so she has first hand experience of the topic. Ruth is also extremely knowlegeable about cattle and conservation grazing.

RBST has a specific campaign running this year focussing on the very rarest cattle breeds.
